Today is the day. The day where I take a bold new step towards a bright new future. The day that I start to follow my passions and hone my craft. This may be the beginning of something great, and I’m looking forward to giving it a shot!
My plans for this site are big, but baby steps would need to be taken first. I would love to just dive in to anything gaming-related, but for now, I will be focusing on Nintendo Switch games, as well as sharing my thoughts on the Switch. I will only review games that I own, games I have played for a while, or games that I have the intention to buy. I will also try to keep a consistent posting schedule, but I can’t be sure if I can do so just yet…
I also know that not everything will be easy. Apparently, most blogs won’t make it past their first year, and even more bloggers quit after 3 months! Beyond that, with millions of blogs in the world, and 23% of online activity being spent on blogs/social media, standing out is a little like being a drop of water in an ocean.
Despite these setbacks, I still feel that it’s worth giving a shot! I don’t need to be the next IGN or anything, (at least, not yet!) but it won’t hurt to try! So enough about me. I’ll let YOU decide if my blog and content is worth YOUR time. Whatever the case, I’ll give it my best!
As Lao Tzu said, “The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step,” and today marks the start of my thousand mile journey. Let’s make it a good one!
